I read somewhere that the next time a new kernel arrives because of a software update, I will have to go through this procedure again because the new kernel may not contain the RT driver, is that right?

I would still like to pursue the Ndiswrapper line as I feel I am close to getting the wifi working that way. Description specifically stated support for Macs and OSX. Was inexpensive so havent returned it. This is fully compatible with Windows XP and should be able to connect to any wireless router without issue.

I couldn’t figure out how to install the Linux driver so I tried installing the windows driver using Ndiswrapper. Hi I removed and re-installed ndiswrapper as you suggested. Says plug and play dyna,ode that’s what it did.
